Inuit goddess Sedna is associated with transformation born by tragedy. She reminds us of resilience, one's capacity, and incredible strength to overcome betrayal. I love the idea of Sedna's beautiful and pure spirit, demonstrated when she sinks to the bottom of the sea and transforms into the benevolent spirit of the sea despite the sadness and unimaginable heartbreak of having been betrayed by her father.
