The abstract acrylic paintings were a journey to create in 2023. Sia's song constantly played on my headphones as I confronted each blank canvas with colour, palette knives and larger-than-life energy of raw emotion. Her song, on repeat, held deep resonance and a safe space for working through the complexity of the human heart's capacity to heal beyond its broken places and toxic dynamics.
