This painting was inspired by the idea of life as a living canvas. It was created the day before I had my work professionally photographed for the first time and would have a profile picture taken after a decade of struggling with the effects of complex post traumatic disorder and I was terrified as I was letting the photographer who was a complete stranger inside my home. At that point only two other people had seen my art.
